Our Purpose
The purpose of the volunteer Tracks Across Borders board is to maintain, market and promote the Byway as an interactive museum over the pathways of the past so that travelers can develop an understanding and appreciation of the rich railroad, cultural, historical, recreational, agricultural, and natural features of the Byway that have endured and continue today.
Additionally, the board strives to make navigation easy and exceed visitor expectations, encourage and promote responsible tourism that helps our communities and businesses along the Byway thrive.

Board of Commissioners
The Commissioners of the Track Across Borders Byway are made up of interested community members and representative of stakeholders along the Byway who believe in its purpose.
John Bush – President
John Bush, current President of the TABB Commission. is the retired President and General Manager of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. He is a resident of Chama, NM, where he operates a bed and breakfast.
John Porco – Executive Director
John Porco is Executive Director of the Commission, responsible for day to day management of the Byway. He is a retired engineer and emergency manager and resides in Pagosa Springs, CO. He is also an active Volunteer with the Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.
Martha Gowin – Vice President – CO
Martha Gowin, current Vice President for Colorado of the TABB Commission, is the Marketing Manager of the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad in Durango, CO.
VACANT – Vice President – NM
Doug Secrist – Treasurer
Doug Secrist, current Treasurer of the TABB Commission, is the former manager of the Navajo State Park in Colorado. He is a resident of Pagosa Springs, CO.
BECKY HERMAN – SECRETARY
Becky Herman is Secretary of the TABB Commission and a retired librarian and IT professional. She represents the Weminuche Audubon Society on the Commission and lives in Pagosa Springs..
BENJAMIN BREWER – COMMISSIONER
Benjamin Brewer is Destination Management Director of Visit Durango.
Muriel Eason – Commissioner
Muriel Eason is the former President of Pagosa Springs Community Development Corporation and Retired from Intel Corporation.
Clyde Vicenti – Commissioner
Clyde Vicenti is the retired Cultural Director of the Jicarilla Apache Nation, residing in Farmington, NM.
RICK LIVELY – COMMISSIONER
Rick Lively represents the Friends of the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad on the Commission. He is a resident of Socorro, NM.
ROMAN JAY BOX SEIBEL – COMMISSIONER
Roman Seibel is the Planning Director of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe in Igancio, CO.
