Chimney Rock National Monument is a natural formation that was inhabited by the Native Americans from the Chaco region of New Mexico. The area has significant meaning for the tribe due to the unique nature of the pillars and the lunar event that happens every 18.5 years.

Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad

The Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is one of the terminus points of the TABB. Created by the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad in 1881, it now is a popular scenic railroad in the area. Enjoy their museum, ride to see beautiful scenery, and spend time visiting the historic town of Silverton.

Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad

The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, the western terminus for the byway is a 64-mile long scenic railroad that once was a part of the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad. Enjoy exploring the Authentic West aboard the historic coal-fired locomotives.
